The St. Louis Renaissance Faire is an annual event held at the Rotary Park in Wentzville, Missouri for 4 consecutive weekends beginning in mid May and continuing through early June. The Renaissance Faire is a "living history" event that recreates a 16th century village in Renaissance France. Visitors will enjoy artisan demonstrations of crafts and goods using period skills, jousting knights, strolling minstrels, performances on nine stages, all done by a costumed cast of re-enactors! Visitors will also interact with costumed villagers, noblemen, and peasants and enjoy the customs and mannerisms of the early 1500's. Activities and shows geared to children are available at the Faire, as well. Food and drink are in abundance. Admission is charged.
